Make Me Better is on ongoing program; we expect to be adding tips and drills and other features in the future. Stay tuned! And in the meantime, remember that even the world's best players return again and again to the basics.
I've done all my lessons and made great progress on my game. How can I set a new target score?
Each time you enter a new round you'll have a chance to update your target score. To tell us about your latest round, click Update Your Stats on the Make Me Better banner.
What is the GIR referenced on the Scorecard?
GIR refers to greens in regulation, and is a measure of the expected number of strokes it takes to get the ball on the putting surface, in relation to par. The par of a hole always includes two putts, so on a par-3, it's expected that a par-shooter will reach the green in one shot and take two putts; on a par-4 you should reach in two shots; you should reach the green on a par-5 in three shots.

I played a round of golf. Where can I enter my new score?
The Scorecard Snapshot is where you can chart the dates and scores of your games. Below your scorecard, you'll see a link that says Update your stats. Tell us about your most recent round and click Save.
I made a mistake in entering a round of golf. How do I edit a round from my snapshot?
Easy. On the Make Me Better banner, just click Edit Snapshot. Then select a Round from the dropdown, and edit the populated fields.
How do I delete a round of golf from my snapshot?
Head to your MMB Profile (the text link above LessonPlans tab). Just select delete. OR On the Make Me Better banner, just click Edit Snapshot. Then select a Round from the dropdown, and edit the populated fields to 0. OR Check off the rounds you want to delete and click Save to remove them from your scorecard.
What's the difference between a pitch and a chip?
There's no hard-and-fast rule on this, but basically, a chip shot is a short shot struck with an iron from just off the putting surface. It typically flies low, and rolls farther than it flies. A pitch shot typically flies higher than a chip shot, and rolls less.
If I use my pitching wedge from 100 yards, does it count as a pitch?
No. Make Me Better defines a pitch or a chip as a shot played from within 50 yards of the putting surface.
Can I enter 9-hole scores?
Make Me Better is set up to help you track 18-hole scores. If you play 9-hole rounds, combine two such rounds and enter them as an 18-hole score.
How do I print or Facebook share my scorecard?
On the Make Me Better banner, just click Track Stats. Use the share and print icons on the bottom of the page to promote your progress.

How can I filter the lessons and tips to search for a topic or expert?
On the Tips tab or Lesson Plans tab, type a keyword into the search bar. As an alternate search, click on the Category, Filters, Filters or Filters tab to see pre-categorized how-tos.
How do I edit or remove a lesson from a lesson plan?
Go to the Lesson Plans tab to select the one you’d like to edit. Click the Edit button in the bottom left-hand corner. Just remove and replace with other video lessons as needed.
How do I create another lesson plan?
To start from scratch head to Build a Lesson Plan tab.
How do I see other golfers’ lesson plans?
All lesson plans created on showcased on the Lesson Plans tab. This includes how-to packages from golfers, experts and editors.
